When I set-up the archiver, I could not find a copy of Volume1/issue4.
I've checked with one other person, and she does not have a copy either.
So, if you have a copy, please send it to me at "jeff@onion.pdx.com",
and I will put it in the archives. I have a sneaking feeling that
V1/I4 never existed, and that I forgot to reset the counter after I
ran a test...
Also, if you have sent-in something and have not seen it published,
then I haven't seen it. Everything received has been sent as of this
issue.

The archiver for this mailing list has been installed and tested.
Back issues are available without sending email to me now, :-) Here's the
information on accessing the bread archives.
There's an email address on onion.pdx.com named "netlib". All
requests should be sent to "netlib@onion.pdx.com" or
"...!uunet!m2xenix!qiclab!onion!netlib". In the body of the message,
you can put requests for the automatic server. You can put several
requests in the same email message.
Here are a few samples of how to request files from the archive:
(You don't type the "'s. They are there just to delimit things.)
To get an index of all articles in the archive:
"send index from bread"
To get a reprint of volume1/issue1 of the list:
"send volume1/issue1 from bread"
On some systems, you can do this as easily as typing:
% echo "send index from bread" | mail netlib@onion.pdx.com
If you have any problems, please send email to "jeff@onion.pdx.com".
Mail sent to netlib is not seen by a human. (Well, usually, but
sometimes I peek to make sure that everything is ok... :-)
Have fun!

Subject: recipes and a request

These two recipes are taken from "Blue Ribbon Breads", by May Ward and
Carol Stine, published by Hodgson Mill.
The recipes are for 2 cup bread makers - but I've adjusted them for 3 cups.
Both turned out good.
Does anyone have a recipe for Sweet potatoe bread ????
Hot Jalapeno Bread
1 package yeast
3 Cups Bread flour
3 tblsp chopped Japapeno peppers ( or to taste )
1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese
1 1/2 tblsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups water (adjust to your needs )
throw in and bake
Buckwheat Applesauce Bread
1 package yeast
3/8 cup Buckwheat flour
2 5/8 bread flour
3/4 cup applesauce
1 1/2 tblsp veg oil
1 1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup of water ( adjust to your needs )
throw in and bake
