  15. When I set-up the archiver, I could not find a copy of Volume1/issue4.
  16. I've checked with one other person, and she does not have a copy either.
  17. So, if you have a copy, please send it to me at "jeff@onion.pdx.com",
  18. and I will put it in the archives.  I have a sneaking feeling that
  19. V1/I4 never existed, and that I forgot to reset the counter after I
  20. ran a test...

  22. Also, if you have sent-in something and have not seen it published,
  23. then I haven't seen it.  Everything received has been sent as of this
  24. issue.

  37.     The archiver for this mailing list has been installed and tested.
  38. Back issues are available without sending email to me now, :-)  Here's the
  39. information on accessing the bread archives.

  41. There's an email address on onion.pdx.com named "netlib".  All
  42. requests should be sent to "netlib@onion.pdx.com" or
  43. "...!uunet!m2xenix!qiclab!onion!netlib".  In the body of the message,
  44. you can put requests for the automatic server.  You can put several
  45. requests in the same email message.

  47. Here are a few samples of how to request files from the archive:
  48. (You don't type the "'s.  They are there just to delimit things.)

  50. To get an index of all articles in the archive:
  51.     "send index from bread"
  52.  
  53. To get a reprint of volume1/issue1 of the list:
  54.     "send volume1/issue1 from bread"
  55.  
  56. On some systems, you can do this as easily as typing:
  57. % echo "send index from bread" | mail netlib@onion.pdx.com
  58.  
  59. If you have any problems, please send email to "jeff@onion.pdx.com".
  60. Mail sent to netlib is not seen by a human.  (Well, usually, but
  61. sometimes I peek to make sure that everything is ok... :-)

  77. These two recipes are taken from "Blue Ribbon Breads", by May Ward and
  78. Carol Stine, published by Hodgson Mill.

  80. The recipes are for 2 cup bread makers - but I've adjusted them for 3 cups.
  81. Both turned out good.

  83. Does anyone have a recipe for Sweet potatoe bread ????

  85. Hot Jalapeno Bread

  87. 1 package yeast
  88. 3 Cups Bread flour
  89. 3 tblsp chopped Japapeno peppers ( or to taste )
  90. 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese
  91. 1 1/2 tblsp sugar
  92. 1 1/2 tsp salt
  93. 1 1/4 cups water (adjust to your needs )

  97. Buckwheat Applesauce Bread

  99. 1 package yeast
  100. 3/8 cup Buckwheat flour
  101. 2 5/8 bread flour
  102. 3/4 cup applesauce
  103. 1 1/2 tblsp veg oil
  104. 1 1/2 tsp salt
  105. 3/4 cup of water ( adjust to your needs )
